The Central Pointe Christian Academy National White Tigers waltzed into their game  Saturday with seven straight wins  but they left with eight. They strolled past Batavia with  points to spare, taking the game  61-44. Winning is a bit easier when  you work as a team to  rack up ten more assists than your opponent, as Central Pointe Christian Academy National did.
  Sofia  Mu?oz  was  her usual excellent self,  scoring 22 points along with seven  steals. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jayshlynn  Vega, who  scored 11 points along with six  assists.
 Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Brooke Carlson, who  scored 22 points along with five  rebounds. Carlson scored a full 50% of Batavia's points, the seventh time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Addison Prewitt, who  scored eight points along with three  steals.
 Central Pointe Christian Academy National's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Batavia, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4.
 Central Pointe Christian Academy National's road trip will continue as they head out to face Riverdale Baptist at 7:10  p.m.  on January 12th. Batavia and Wheaton-Warrenville South will face off  at 7:15  p.m.  on January 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Wheaton-Warrenville South will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 104th, while Batavia is ranked sixth).
