Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Niles on Saturday. The Saints blew past the Vikings 12-5. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger got a massive performance out of Mackenzie Nees, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs Nees has posted since back in May of 2024. Abby Gillespie was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
