The Saranac Redskins will head out to take on the Williamston Hornets at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Saranac is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Saranac turned things around against Potterville on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 18-3 win. The Redskins not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 30th (when they won 17-2).

Saranac got a massive performance out of Winnie Harder, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits Harder has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Alexis Smus, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles.
Saranac always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .724. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Williamston posted their closest victory since April 28th on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Bath 3-2.
Olivia Yadav spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Williamston saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shea O'Neil, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.
Saranac's record is now 7-9. As for Williamston, their record now sits at 10-8.
Williamston's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Saranac has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .520.
