The Windthorst Trojans will head out on the road to take on the Seymour Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
Windthorst unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. Their rough 51-27 defeat to Nocona might stick with them for a while. Windthorst has not had much luck with Nocona recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Seymour scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Archer City, posting a 69-30 win on the road. Seymour has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Windthorst's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5. As for Seymour, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season.
Everything went Windthorst's way against Seymour when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as Windthorst made off with a 62-40 win. Does Windthorst have another victory up their sleeve, or will Seymour turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
