It was another big night for Carson Arthalony, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Jayce Privia was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-1. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central will head out on the road to challenge Sangamon Valley/Tri-City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sangamon Valley/Tri-City comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last 15 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they will be playing at home against Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
