Macedonian Christian is 10-0 against Harvest Christian since January of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Macedonian Christian will head out on the road to challenge Harvest Christian at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Macedonian Christian had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.9 points), and they went ahead and made it 14 on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat South Texas Christian Academy 69-27 at home. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Macedonian Christian had established a 33 point advantage.
Meanwhile, Harvest Christian entered their tilt with Presbyterian Pan American with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Harvest Christian took their contest at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 85-16 victory over Presbyterian Pan American.
Macedonian Christian's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 32-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Harvest Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.
Macedonian Christian skirted past Harvest Christian 47-44 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Macedonian Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
