Fans got a thrill when Gresch Jensen and Ray Hardaway connected against Camas. The connection was good for 77 yards, the longest such play in 3A South Puget Sound this season.
Auburn Mountainview's Malachi Fowler recorded the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against the Papermakers last week. Fowler ran for 63 yards on the play and finished with 69 on the day as his team lost to Camas.
Auburn Mountainview's Jensen and Joey Cassano have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Jensen has thrown for 576 yards this season, while Cassano, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 19 catches for 270 yards. Caleb Lyons from Lakes leads the league in rushing with 112 yards.
Enumclaw moved up to 94 from 136 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A South Puget Sound. The Hornets were able to move up by besting Heritage 41-22.
