East Moline United dropped their record down to 15-10 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pioneers earlier this season, when they won 11-0.
Sophia Crouse was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendall Crawford, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
As for Alleman, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-19. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.
