The Pringle-Morse Cougars lost against the Texline Tornadoes back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pringle-Morse was outmatched by the Tornadoes at home and fell 110-29. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pringle-Morse in their matchups with the Tornadoes: they've now lost four in a row.
Hayden Alston was his usual excellent self, scoring 33 points along with five rebounds and four steals for Texline. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Alston has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rett Wann, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds.
Pringle-Morse's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-11. As for Texline, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pringle-Morse will square off against the Matadors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Texline, they will head out on the road to take on the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wildorado is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
