The Eastwood Eagles will take on the Oak Harbor Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Eastwood beat Otsego 45-35.
Meanwhile, Oak Harbor stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Rossford 51-15 at home. Given Oak Harbor's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 258th, while Rossford is ranked 684th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Eastwood's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Oak Harbor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.
Eastwood skirted past Oak Harbor 37-34 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Will Eastwood repeat their success, or does Oak Harbor have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
