Lexington put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They put a hurting on Lafayette County to the tune of 42-0. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Lexington had established a 32-0 advantage.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Lexington will stay at home next week against Richmond at 7:00 PM. Lexington are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Richmond are stumbling in off of eight consecutive losses. Lafayette County will be staying on the road, facing off against Carrollton. Neither Lafayette County nor Carrollton could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
