The Orland Trojans just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Shasta Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Orland beat Corning 56-50. The win made it back-to-back wins for Orland.
Jordan Lister was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 16 points. His trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Story, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Even though Shasta has not done well against Enterprise recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Shasta strolled past Enterprise with points to spare, taking the game 63-46.
Orland's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Shasta, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.
Orland couldn't quite finish off Shasta in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 and fell 46-44. Can Orland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
