May and the Buffaloes are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The May Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Cross Plains Buffaloes at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
A well-balanced attack led May over the Bulldogs in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that May blew the Bulldogs out of the water with a 61-10 final score. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point May had established a 44 point advantage.
Meanwhile, Cross Plains humbled the Bears with a 66-27 victory. The win was just what Cross Plains needed coming off of a 62-28 defeat in their prior contest.
May has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Cross Plains, the win got them back to even at 16-16.
May strolled past the Buffaloes in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 43-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for May since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
