The Pantego Christian Panthers will be playing at home against the Mercy Culture Prep Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pantego Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 11 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Last Friday, Pantego Christian had just enough and edged Trinity Christian out 11-8.
Meanwhile, Mercy Culture Prep took a serious blow against Sacred Heart on Friday, falling 41-13. Mercy Culture Prep was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-6.
Josh Marshall put forth a good effort for the losing side as he picked up 171 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Marshall's longest reception was for an incredible 73 yards.
Pantego Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Mercy Culture Prep, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-3.
