The Lynnwood Royals fell victim to the Redmond Mustangs''s stalwart defense on Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Mustangs, falling 51-0. Lynnwood's loss kept them winless this season.
Leading Redmond to victory were Isaiah Biemeck and Asher Lucas. Biemeck rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, while Lucas threw for 202 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes. Redmond also got help from Brayden Bartoletti who showed off his sure hands for 96 receiving yards.
Lynnwood's loss was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-8. As for Redmond, their win bumped their record up to 4-4.
Lynnwood will head out on the road to face off against Everett at 8:00 p.m. on October 27th. Everett is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Redmond, they have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
