The Arlington Admirals will be playing in front of their home fans against the John Jay Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Arlington will be looking to keep their ten-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Arlington stacked a ninth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 52-14 win over Ossining. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.
Michael Rescigno had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 198 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. Rescigno's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards. Arlington also got help from Robbie Jordan who showed off his sure hands for 99 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, John Jay narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Scarsdale 17-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for John Jay.
Their wins bumped Arlington to 9-0 and John Jay to 7-2.
Arlington beat John Jay 24-16 when the teams last played back in September of 2019. Will Arlington repeat their success, or does John Jay have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
