Baldwin put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Lahainaluna Lunas with a sharp 14-4 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 13-3 win two weeks ago.

Shaileah Brown (Shai) made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI.

In other batting news, Baldwin let Kalia DeMello (Kalia) and Bailey Nagasako (Bailey) run wild. DeMello (Kalia) went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Nagasako (Bailey) went 3-for-5 with three doubles and two RBI. That's the most doubles Nagasako (Bailey) has posted since back in March. Briana Maio-Silva (Ana) was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Baldwin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Baldwin pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Lahainaluna, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Baldwin nor Lahainaluna have any future games scheduled.
