It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Brighton Bruins can now relate to. They received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 25-8 to East/World of Inquiry. Brighton's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
East/World of Inquiry's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ervin Wiggins Jr., who rushed for 22 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 51 receiving yards. Zymier Jackson was another key contributor, throwing for 177 yards on 13 of 21 attempts.
Brighton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for East/World of Inquiry, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
