The Linden-McKinley Panthers's game on Monday was all tied up 13-13 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 34-25 to Fairfield Christian Academy. Linden-McKinley has not had much luck with Fairfield Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Linden-McKinley saw an underclassman step up: Christiana Towns scored 10 points. Towns scored a full 40% of Linden-McKinley's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dennie Houston - Williams, who scored 5 points.
Linden-McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fairfield Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Linden-McKinley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Beechcroft at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Fairfield Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Harvest Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Harvest Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Sunday.
