Corona del Mar extended the longest winning streak in Pacific Coast this week by beating Westminster, 37-14. The win marks 13th in a row for the the Sea Kings.
Corona del Mar took down the Lions 37-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Luke Napolitano threw for 160 yards and 1 touchdown during the win.
Irvine's dynamic duo of Justin Miller and Alex Sims proved tough for Garden Grove to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Miller threw for 264 yards and 1 touchdown and Sims had 92 yards receiving. Mikey Filia helped Irvine's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 45 yards.
Corona del Mar's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Sea Kings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Napolitano has thrown for 2,312 yards and 21 touchdowns this season, while Cole Collins has 54 catches for 927 yards.
Scott Meyer's team's Collins is only 73 receiving yards away from breaking 1,000 receiving yards this season as he enters this week's game against the the Argonauts. So far this year, he has acheived 54 catches for 927 yards.
The Sea Kings led the league in scoring this week after putting up 37 points on Westminster. Napolitano in the win.
