Towns County have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will be playing at home against Commerce at at 7:30 PM on Friday. Commerce will be strutting in after a victory while Towns County will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Things haven't been easy for Towns County, and their contest two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to four. They were dealt a punishing 0-47 loss at the hands of Hebron Christian Academy. Towns County were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-33.
Meanwhile, Commerce might be getting used to good results now that the squad has seven wins in a row. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Hebron Christian Academy, sneaking past 21-18. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
Towns County have to be hurting after a devastating 14-38 defeat at the hands of Commerce the last time the two teams met. Can Towns County avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
