Eagle Ridge Academy's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Highland Park, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Eagle Ridge Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Totino-Grace on the 23rd. As for Highland Park, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cretin-Derham Hall at 5:30 p.m. on September 3.
