The Northgate Broncos can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They claimed a resounding 83-38 win over Mt. Diablo at home. That looming 83-38 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Northgate yet this season.
Leading Northgate to victory were Grayson Boustead and Jake Andjus. Boustead scored 19 points along with six assists and six steals, while Andjus scored 25 points along with seven assists and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Andjus has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Maderis, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Northgate's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Mt. Diablo, they dropped their record down to 2-21 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Acalanes the next time they take the court. Northgate will host Acalanes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Mt. Diablo will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
