When you finish with 198 more yards than your opponent, a favorable outcome is sure to follow. Everything went Blue Valley's way against Wetmore last week as the squad secured a 60-14 victory. Senior Cole Montgomery was the offensive standout of the match for Blue Valley, as he rushed for 167 yards and 4 touchdowns. In fact, with 11 tackles Montgomery was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Hanover put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Rock Hills 68-0. The Hanover offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the match anyway.
Their wins bumped Hanover to 3-0 and Blue Valley to 1-2. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Hanover and Blue Valley will really light up the scoreboard.
