Chenango Forks' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Stephen Samsel, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. Walker Paske was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Chenango Forks struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Chenango Forks has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Morris Central, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.
Chenango Forks is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Whitney Point at 7:15 p.m. on February 13th. Hopefully Chenango Forks focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Monday. Morris Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
