The Shorecrest Prep Chargers will challenge the Keswick Christian Crusaders at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The last five games Shorecrest Prep has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Last Friday, Shorecrest Prep had just enough and edged out Indian Rocks Christian  4-2.

  Beau LeCain was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jake Diner, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Keswick Christian waltzed into their matchup  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Lions 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won seven contests by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Evan Lightfield and  Landon Wilson were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  Lightfield   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Wilson   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. At the plate,  Lightfield  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances, while  Wilson  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most  runs  Lightfield has posted since back in February.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Dylan Williams, who  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Ryan DeOrsey was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Keswick Christian was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .500. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
 Shorecrest Prep pushed their record up to 7-4 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to  hits: they averaged an imposing ten  hits in those games compared to only 5.33 in the others. As for Keswick Christian, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
