The Pine-Richland Rams will venture away from home to  take on the Seneca Valley Raiders  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
On Friday, Pine-Richland didn't have quite enough to beat Canon-McMillan and fell  7-6. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Seneca Valley put another one in the bag  on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Canon-McMillan 11-1. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their two-run performance the  match before.
 Lexie Hames made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 15 batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run any time she's  pitched this season. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  home run.
 In other batting news,  Liv Herrem was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.  Paige Volze also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
 Seneca Valley's win was  their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 9-0. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Pine-Richland, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
 Pine-Richland suffered a grim  22-3 defeat to Seneca Valley  when the teams last played  back in April of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
