There's no place like home for Dwight, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Donovan Wildcats on Monday, sneaking past 2-1. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Dwight had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-16, 25-19.

When it comes to explaining why Donovan lost, don't look at Lily Anderson. Despite the final result, she had 13 assists and nine digs. Anderson has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more assists the last four times she's played.

Dwight's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Donovan, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Dwight will venture away from home to square off against Wilmington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Donovan, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Beecher on the 23rd.
