Sahuaro is 4-0 against Walden Grove since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Sahuaro Cougars will face off against the Walden Grove Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Sahuaro's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
Last Monday, Sahuaro strolled past Mica Mountain with points to spare, taking the game 72-55. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Thunderbolts are ranked 79th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cisco Llamas was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 28 points and nine assists. He has been hot for a while, having also posted three or more steals the last nine times he's played. Elijah Santini was another key player, going 6 for 8 on his way to 13 points.
Meanwhile, Walden Grove blew past Pueblo, posting a 78-43 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Wolves.
Walden Grove's win came from a few key players Sahuaro will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Caden Green, who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mitchel Collins, who put up 15 points.
Sahuaro pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.6 points per game. As for Walden Grove, their win bumped their record up to 15-11.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Sahuaro and Walden Grove are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Sahuaro hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 67.2 points per game. However, it's not like Walden Grove struggles in that department as they've been averaging 67.2 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Sahuaro didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Walden Grove when the teams last played two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 66-62 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sahuaro since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
