After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clearfield, Bellefonte was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers as they made off with a 6-0 victory. Considering Bellefonte have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Their offense was hitting Philipsburg-Osceola from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Brooke Whitman led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.
Bellefonte pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Philipsburg-Osceola, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
