Lakeside entered their tilt with Riverside on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They didn't even let the Rams on the board, marking their second-straight 10-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Austin Simonson was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Connor Fritz was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Lakeside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Riverside only posted an OBP of .278.

Lakeside's record is now 10-3. As for Riverside, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Lakeside will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rams: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
