The Lamar Raiders won the last time they faced the Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Lamar took down Park Place Christian Academy 57-41. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lamar.
Lamar's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jonathan Hart, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. Hart continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Zion Huggins was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with three steals.
Lamar's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Park Place Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lamar will take on Meridian HomeSchool at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meridian HomeSchool comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Park Place Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wayne Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
