Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Saturday. Lansing came out on top against Lawrence by a score of 2-0. Lansing hasn't had any issues with Lawrence recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lansing took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14.

Lansing's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Lawrence, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Lansing didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Spring Hill on the 13th. As for Lawrence, they will take on Shawnee Mission Northwest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
