Hough was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against West Mecklenburg on Friday. Hough was the clear victor by an 18-2 margin over West Mecklenburg. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won eight in a row.

Hough's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for West Mecklenburg, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-2.
