Baseball Recap: Tree of Life Christian Takes a Loss

If Tree of Life Christian was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Liberty Christian Academy last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell just short of Granville Christian Academy by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 14-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Tree of Life Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Brown, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Samuel Jackson also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Tree of Life Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Granville Christian Academy, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Tree of Life Christian has already played their next match, a 13-12 win against Delaware Christian on the 12th. As for Granville Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-1 victory against Liberty Christian Academy on the 12th.
