Immaculate Conception Academy pushed their score all the way to 59 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Calvary Christian. Immaculate Conception Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Philip Davie was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 27 points and nine rebounds for Calvary Christian. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davie has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Schlatter, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Immaculate Conception Academy's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Calvary Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing East Dayton Christian the next time they take the court. Immaculate Conception Academy will host the at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Spartans will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
