Greenback won the last time they faced Oakdale and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Cherokees were the clear victors by  an  8-1 margin over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Cherokees, who have now won ten contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Kolden Williams spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on two hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in six consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Gabriel Severance was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with five  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. Those  five  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Noah Graves, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 Greenback  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .541. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oakdale only posted  an  OBP of  .115.
Greenback has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record  this season. As for Oakdale, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record  this season.
 Greenback will head out to  square off against William Blount  at 2:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Oakdale, they will be playing at home against Sunbright  at 1:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
