Indianapolis Metropolitan has struggled against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Indianapolis Metropolitan got a solid performance out of Landon Petty, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Petty posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Leo Petty, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Even though they lost, Indianapolis Metropolitan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory only pulled down four offensive rebounds.
Meanwhile, Riverside's six-game losing streak came to an end last Friday. They breezed by KIPP Legacy on the road to the tune of 78-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Riverside has posted yet this season.
Indianapolis Metropolitan's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Riverside, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8.
