St. Anne's-Belfield is ranked highly in their home state, and last Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Mercersburg Academy. The stars were shining brightly for St. Anne's-Belfield in a 62-46 win over Mercersburg Academy.
Meanwhile, Dunbar was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 43-42 to St. Andrew's Episcopal.
St. Anne's-Belfield's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.4 points per game. As for Dunbar, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.
