Two dominant guards in Alex Jasquith and Treymar Jones are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Booker T. Washington Wildcats will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Milton Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Booker T. Washington will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Last Friday, Booker T. Washington's game was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Pine Forest by a score of 60-51.
It was another big night for Jasquith, who scored 30 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Shirley, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Milton didn't have too much trouble with Pensacola at home on Tuesday as they won 58-43. Given Milton's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while Pensacola is ranked 446th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Booker T. Washington's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Milton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Booker T. Washington against Milton in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 74-47 victory. Does Booker T. Washington have another victory up their sleeve, or will Milton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
