The Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers will be playing at home against the KIPP Legacy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Indiana School for the Deaf and four for KIPP Legacy.
Last Saturday, Indiana School for the Deaf came up short against Attica and fell 52-42.
Despite the loss, Indiana School for the Deaf got a solid performance out of Dylan Puent, who scored 23 points. That was a full 54.8% of Indiana School for the Deaf's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Anthony Silvay was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Meanwhile, KIPP Legacy pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Traders Point Christian 65-59. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (55), KIPP Legacy still had to take the loss.
Indiana School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for KIPP Legacy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
