Volleyball Recap: Carrollton Triumphs

Carrollton won the last time they faced South Harrison and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bulldogs.

Carrollton easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17.

Jenna Owen paced Carrollton's offense, picking up five kills. Owen got some help from Kinsey Fisher and her 11 assists. Fisher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Carrollton's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for South Harrison, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Carrollton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. Paul Lutheran on the 13th. As for South Harrison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Chillicothe on the 13th.
