The Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers are taking a road trip to challenge the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellwood-Antis took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Philipsburg-Osceola, who comes in off a win.
Philipsburg-Osceola had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Bishop Guilfoyle on Friday. Philipsburg-Osceola was the clear victor by a 16-2 margin over Bishop Guilfoyle. The win continues a trend for the Mountaineers in their matchups with the Marauders: they've now won three in a row.
Archer Baughman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
