Danville hasn't had much luck against Washington County recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Admirals will square off against the Commanders at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Danville's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
Danville will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Lincoln County, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Admirals walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Patriots on Thursday.

Jaycee Morse made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two doubles.
In other batting news, Riley Foster was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Isabella Leathers was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Danville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Washington County came up short against Caverna on Friday and fell 7-4.
Ariana Gonzalez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Marlee Tennill, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Danville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Washington County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Danville has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Washington County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Danville's way against Washington County when the teams last played back in March, as Danville made off with a 19-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Admirals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
