Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Collierville). They came out on top against the Manila Lions by a score of 79-69 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Dragons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Collierville now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Manila, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8.

Collierville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 80-68 defeat against Maumelle on the 27th. As for Manila, they will welcome Paragould at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Manila knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Paragould likes a good challenge.
