The Harrisonburg Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Grant on the road and fell 80-33. Harrisonburg has not had much luck with Grant recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Ryan Fuqua and Laine Dupuis certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Fuqua scored 15 points along with 3 steals, while Dupuis scored 4 points along with 9 rebounds. Fuqua scored a full 45.5% of Harrisonburg's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Harrisonburg now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Grant, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrisonburg will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Forest at 5:30 p.m. on December 11th. Forest is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Grant, they will head out on the road to face off against Jena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
