The Parke Heritage Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 22 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 55-15 victory over West Vigo on the road. The win was familiar territory for Parke Heritage who now have nine in a row.
It was another big night for Emma Simpson, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 17 rebounds. The game was her 18th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Andrea Perkins, who scored ten points.
Parke Heritage has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for West Vigo, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parke Heritage will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against South Vermillion at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. As for West Vigo, they will challenge North Putnam at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully North Putnam focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 35 back in December of 2023.
