The Milton-Union Bulldogs waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins but they left with seven. Everything went their way against Brookville as Milton-Union made off with a 53-31 win. Milton-Union has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 22 points or more this season.
Jenna Brumbaugh was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Ava Berberich was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Despite the loss, Brookville still got an impressive performance from Ashlee Haupt, who scored 15 points.
Milton-Union is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Brookville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.
Milton-Union will play host again and welcome Troy Christian, where tip off is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brookville, they will head out on the road to square off against National Trail at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
