Volleyball Recap: Lutheran South Academy Starts Season with Win on the Road

Lutheran South Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Concordia Lutheran Crusaders 3-0 on Tuesday. The Pioneers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Crusaders, so the Pioneers were just returning the favor.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-15.

Lutheran South Academy was led to victory by Charlie Marsico and Julia Carpentier. Marsico had 13 digs and six assists, while Carpentier had four digs and four aces. Those six assists gave Marsico a new career-high.
