Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Twin Lakes Indians walked away with it. They walked away with a 54-46 victory over the Panthers on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for Twin Lakes who now have four in a row.
Addie Bowsman was her usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with six rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more points the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Nickerson, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds.
Twin Lakes has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Western, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-6.
Twin Lakes will take on the Bison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Benton Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Indians in Indiana (the Bison are ranked 31st, while the Indians are ranked 102nd). Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
